ExCel Center
These photos were taken at the ExCel center today while on a trip there to look for apprenticehsips for many interests. The trip was incredibly fun because I got to go with one of my close friends Sassikia (right). Sassikia and I are bth interested in fashion design and hope to further our careers in the fashion industry, I personally wouldnt mind modelling, styling, illustrating, designing or printing because these are activities that I would do in my Textiles lessons with Miss Hamilton-Bannis. I am currently studying Textiles and Art at A level (this is my second year A2) and I am really enjoying what I will be able to create throughout the year. Unfortuneately I am unsure of what I would like to do after I complete my studies in 6th form at Capital City Academy, as much as university sounds like a fantastic opportunity, I dont think I want to proceed but who knows? At the workshop we got to speak to fashion retailers, jewellery designers, media companies, chefs and bartenders, it was an amazing experience because I learnt some information about each industry and what they had to offer to students that are my age (17). Sassikia and I got to enter competitions, make our own pendants and take photos that were just for pure fun and to keep as memories. I hope to return to the ExCel center to see what other events they will hold and maybe to thank those that helped me with my future decision.

Family Photoshoot
This is my first post from a photo shoot that I did with my family around 3 weeks ago at Broadway Studios. I had tons of fun with my siblings Ricarlo, Shantice, Shay, Viana and my niece Taisha. Us girls got our hair and makeup done just before we had to pose in front of the camera. I decided to go for a more natural look because I was with my family and wanted to keep it sweet and simple.
This is my first outfit which was a vest, skirt and heels.
The vest was from Primark and was only £2.50
The heels were also from primark and I got them from Primark for £12 when I was in year 9... woah
The skirt was from Topshop and I got it in the summer of 2013 for my first photo shoot.
The day within itself was a hassle but it was also fun at the same time, I really enjoyed the atmosphere from the employees there and the laughs and giggles form my family. Throughout the photo shoot I was mostly scared that I was going to fall over because of how high the heels are but they make my legs look amazing so hey pain is beauty.
This was my second outfit that I wore which was based on my casual wear. The shirt that I am wearing is a gift from my darling sister Shantice. Thanks. The jeans were also a gift from my friend Sadiq. Thanks also. Lastly the boots were my OWN purchase from Ealing Broadway a few years ago, they caught my eye because of the colour, heel and the texture of the shoe.
These photos were the easiest to take because I got to relax and wasn't anxious about flashing in front of my family and the photographer (who was extremely friendly). The circle background reminded me and my friend Sadiq of Ellen's photos which I thought was cool. The yellow background was perfect for me because it make my pink shirt pop and gave the photos a relaxed and fresh look.
Lastly this is my family portrait consisting of my family. On the left is my youngest sister Viana who is energetic and active, she is the craziest but I am glad that she was our bonus edition. Then there is me LOL. Shay is my older brother, he is creative and pessimistic which I think is a strange combination but hey it seems to really work. My older sister Shantice is sitting on the lowest step with her daughter Taisha. The two words that I would use to describe my sister would be hilarious yet inspiring, shes always got my back whenever I need her and she gives good advice from time to time. On her lap is my niece Taisha, she may be the youngest but her personality already is just amazing, she is hilarious just as her mum and lovable. Finally my oldest brother Ricarlo, he is responsible and secretly kind (just not to me) but I still appreciate all the things he has done for me including being responsible for these photos that have started my blog. Thanks Ricarlo.
